Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of acute care telemetry experience and a compact or CO RN license.
Details
- Work in the CC4 Telemetry unit of a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet-designated hospital
- Large cardiac patient population across two telemetry floors and a PCU floor
- Patient ratios estimated at 1:5 for days and nights, though never guaranteed
- Uses Meditech / CPN EMR system
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Float pool includes approximately 80 staff members
- Floating required to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience required
- Strong telemetry experience preferred
- Chemo/ONC certification a plus, opening opportunities to schedule on the Oncology unit
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Provide telemetry nursing care within a large cardiac population, gaining exposure to varied acute and chronic medical conditions
- Team-oriented, family-like work environment where staff support one another
- Flexibility and willingness to float to other inpatient units is essential
- Strong candidates demonstrate compassion and adaptability in a collaborative team setting
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
