Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of one year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience and scrubbing experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites
- Unit staffed by a team of 9
- Day shift scheduled 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM with pre/post variable hours from 0700-1700
- Staffing ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area
- Utilizes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
- Charting done in Meditech EMR
- Performs procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
- On-call responsibilities include 1-2 call shifts per week and approximately every third weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required
- Scrubbing experience required
- Holding and monitoring experience preferred
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
