Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position in Sacramento, requiring an active CA PT license and at least one year of home health experience.
Details
- Home health setting covering the Greater Sacramento, CA territory
- Day shift schedule of 40 hours per week
- Territory may expand as needed to meet coverage needs
- Uses Kinnser for clinical documentation
- iPad and Verizon One Talk equipment provided for fieldwork
- Caseloads and visit mix designed to average 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
- Productivity requirement of 30 points per week based on visit type point values
Requirements
- Active CA PT license required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
- Must be able to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
- Must maintain timely documentation, completing clinical notes within 48 hours of each visit
- Must provide next-day mandatory reporting of start of care visits
Additional Information
- Responsible for prioritizing start of care visits and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants
- Must maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff
- Expected to be generally responsive during normal business hours
- Training includes 3 full days: one in-house and two in the field
- Overtime must be pre-approved by the Clinical Supervisor
