Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Burn position on 7P-7A shifts, requiring an active MO or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Certification.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting caring for burn patients
- Night shift schedule, 7P-7A
Requirements
- Active RN license (MO state or compact)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Two professional references required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry-level nursing care to burn and progressive care patients
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate; no local candidates accepted

This MRI department is amazing! The nurses there are awesome! My experience there was exceptional! The patient care was outstanding!!
Cons
The pay was the only thing that was lacking. But that is what it was! No regrets about working there! Also the housing situation was not great. But that has nothing to do with the facility!
