Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3+ years of experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
Details
- Work in a 10-OR surgical suite within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart cases
- Uses a variety of OR equipment
- Utilizes EPIC EMR system
- Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM with a varying day off
- Weekend coverage is on-call only
- Weekday and weekend call requirements apply
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Robotics training preferred
- Vascular and open heart surgery experience preferred but not required

- Surgery scrubs provided
- Ideal candidates are positive, self-starters who can go with the flow and anticipate team needs
- Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
