Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department offering a full spectrum of emergency care
- Includes a separate Chest Pain Center
- Night shift schedule (7a-7p)
- 13-week assignment length
- May be required to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maine or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
- Must not have any actions or hits on license or background
Additional Information
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit
- Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
- Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
- Previous employees of this facility are not eligible to apply
