Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and prior travel ER assignment experience.
Details
- Work in a busy hospital Emergency Department with approximately 33,000 visits per year
- Main ER has 21 beds plus a 6-bed Minor Care (Fast Track) area
- Facility includes a Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU), triage, critical care, and trauma care within the ER
- 12-hour evening shift schedule (1:00 PM to 1:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week, with potential to work up to 48 hours per week as needed
- 8-week assignment length
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required
- Must have prior travel ER experience
- Must have successfully completed at least one previous travel assignment
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across triage, critical care, trauma, and fast track areas of the ER
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
- Must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to the assignment start date
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
