Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and multiple advanced certifications.

- Adults-only side of the department
- Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am
- Every other weekend required
- 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments, initiate and adjust care plans, and monitor clinical responses
- Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
- Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family-centered care
