Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT R and BLS certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Tech position within the Radiology/Cardiology department
• Patient population includes adult and pediatric patients from the emergency department and inpatient floors, ranging from newborns to trauma cases
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Minimum of 2 techs staffed on every night shift
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
• On-call is optional and available for those interested
• Uses PACS imaging system
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the area

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Washington State license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
• Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration
• Experience with acute care, ER, and pediatric patient populations
• Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, contrast studies, enterography, and IV pyelogram procedures
• Experience with head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest/cardiac CT imaging preferred
• Knowledge of contrast media preparation and administration
• Coronary CTA experience preferred

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Performs a wide range of CT and X-ray procedures across trauma, pediatric, and acute care settings
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with the healthcare system, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they do not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All requested time off must be submitted and approved during the consideration process
• Candidates must be willing to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
