Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification to perform CT and X-ray procedures in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting including adult, pediatric, and emergency department patients
• Perform CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and coronary CTA studies
• Also perform X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Utilizes PACS system
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
• No on-call requirement, though clinicians may opt in if interested
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred
• Washington state license required (license required if applicable)
• Experience in acute care, emergency department, and pediatric settings
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging, colorectal studies, enterography, and intravenous pyelogram procedures preferred
• Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront for consideration
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required for consideration
