Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift assignment covering ED and inpatient CT services.
Details
- CT Tech department serving Emergency Department and inpatient populations with no scheduled outpatients during this shift
- 3x12 Night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Weekend schedule covering Friday through Sunday
- Technologist will work alone after midnight
- EPIC EMR experience required
- May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
- Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest studies with and without contrast
- Utilizes GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS for image display and post-processing
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting required
- ARRT CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active WA Radiological Technologist license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- First-time travelers will be considered with 1 year of hospital experience
- Skilled in 3D rendering, contrast media preparation and administration, and starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging for trauma, vascular, and general diagnostic cases across ED and inpatient units
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, with all time off requests disclosed prior to consideration
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
- Travel pairs accepted
- Former facility staff must be separated for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
- Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours to complete
