Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and NC or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab (Cardiology Invasive) unit of a hospital
- 5-bed unit staffed by a team of 25
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule of 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Uses X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment
- Cerner EMR system used
- No floating required
- On-call required every 5th weekend from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures
- Assist with structural heart procedures
- Surgical green scrub color required
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
