Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current ARRT (CT) certification for a tertiary hospital assignment
Details
- Tertiary hospital setting with 234 staffed beds
- Adult acute care and outpatient CT patient population
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday 12p-10:30p, Saturday/Sunday 11a-9:30p, Monday 12p-10:30p
- Weekend work required
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required between units or sister facilities
- Uses Siemens CT equipment, with Philips experience preferred
- Charting completed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
- SCRQSA (CT) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Siemens CT equipment experience required
- Philips equipment experience preferred
- Radiation badge required, must be provided by candidate/agency as facility does not supply badges
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must maintain proper radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Black and teal scrubs required
- Free parking provided
- First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
- During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
- Block scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
