Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/OBGYN night shift position requiring a ME or compact license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• OBGYN unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Uses Epic EMR
• Float policy requires floating up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• AHA certifications required prior to start (non-AHA certifications accepted at time of consideration)
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery/OBGYN unit
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this information
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited on the unit
