Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and CT registration.

Details

• 154-bed acute care hospital with services including orthopedics, spine, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health
• Radiology department, CT Scan unit
• Adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 20-30 patients per tech for two techs
• Uses GE equipment and Paragon EHR
• Performs CT procedures such as biopsy, drainage, coronary CTA, and nerve root blocks, or fluoro on the CT machine
• Shift schedule from 8:30 PM to 9:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirement a couple nights per week, rotated among techs
• Float to MRI when possible
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• CT registration (ARRT-CT) required
• ARRT-R required
• Ability to perform CT-guided procedures including biopsy, drainage, coronary CTA, and nerve root blocks, or fluoro on the CT machine
• MRI experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans and CT-guided procedures for a diverse adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient population
• May float to MRI based on facility need and staffing
• Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies not permitted
• Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Located in Clyde, NC, near Asheville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
