Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN requiring 2 recent years of cath lab experience and ARRT certification for a Level 1 trauma facility.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a Level 1 trauma hospital
  • Perform STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures
  • Utilize Phillips imaging equipment with new Siemens imaging equipment being added
  • Document in Epic and use Xper hemodynamic system
  • Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours)

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Oklahoma State or multistate compact eNLC) required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
  • Minimum of 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience required
  • Stepdown/PCU experience required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients including monitoring, medication administration, and IV/blood product management
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures
  • Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
  • Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Facility maintains strict compliance deadlines and will not allow push starts
  • Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to accommodate compliance requirements
  • Returning workers limited to one extension up to 26 total weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
