Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN requiring 2 recent years of cath lab experience and ARRT certification for a Level 1 trauma facility.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a Level 1 trauma hospital
- Perform STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures
- Utilize Phillips imaging equipment with new Siemens imaging equipment being added
- Document in Epic and use Xper hemodynamic system
- Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours)
Requirements
- Active RN license (Oklahoma State or multistate compact eNLC) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Minimum of 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience required
- Stepdown/PCU experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients including monitoring, medication administration, and IV/blood product management
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
- Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Facility maintains strict compliance deadlines and will not allow push starts
- Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to accommodate compliance requirements
- Returning workers limited to one extension up to 26 total weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
