Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring stroke certification and 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital environment
- Patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1
- Unit receives stroke patients requiring stroke certification
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Floating to other units or sister facilities within 75 miles may be required based on facility needs
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (OK state or Compact) required, pending licenses not accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- First-time travelers not accepted for this position
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
- Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address, dated within the last three months, required for consideration
- Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
- Two supervisory references required
- No block scheduling requests accommodated
Additional Information
- Provide intermediate care nursing to patients including those with stroke and neurological conditions
- Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Previous INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from employment to be eligible
- Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history must include an explanation
