Description

American Traveler is hiring an ED/Med-Surg RN for a critical access hospital, open to new graduates and requiring a Colorado or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a critical access hospital setting covering both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg unit
• 4-bay emergency room with 15 inpatient beds
• Med-Surg patient population including general and orthopedic surgical cases
• 12-hour shifts available in both day (6:00am-6:00pm) and night (6:00pm-6:00am) rotations
• 13-week assignment length
• 3 openings available

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado (Standard or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Manual dexterity and physical agility required to operate equipment and perform procedures
• Ability to use safe body mechanics for patient and caregiver safety

Additional Information

• Deliver nursing care based on comprehensive patient assessment, analysis, and collaboration with the integrated care team
• Perform ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of nursing care delivered
• Work alongside a full-time EMS service and 24/7 AirLife Helicopter base
• Facility offers services including chemotherapy, general and orthopedic surgery, podiatry, cardiology, and wound care
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required
