Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R) certification.
Details
- Works in an adult acute care and outpatient setting performing CT scans
- True 7-on/7-off night shift schedule alternating 4x10-hour and 3x10-hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Performs CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine with and without contrast
- Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS imaging systems
- Cares for patients across all age groups from neonate to older adult
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- State or compact license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submission
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and using isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging and spine imaging (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) required
- Any charting system experience required; EPIC experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Onboarding requires completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation modules are completed onsite and are non-billable
