Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and AHA certifications.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room/Surgery Unit of an acute care hospital
- 3-bed unit serving all patient ages
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
- Every other weekend or as-needed weekend coverage required
- On-call requirement of 6 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month
- Floating required on an as-needed basis
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB
- 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Specialized OR nursing skills required, as this is not a general floor unit
Additional Information
- Provide specialized nursing care within a hospital surgical unit
- Scrubs are provided; casual wear is not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
