Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a hospital-based Radiology department, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and current ARRT certification.
Details
- Provide CT coverage in a hospital setting including ED and IP services
- 495-bed facility with a mobile CT team responding to consultations across departments
- Perform general body and extremity CT and CTA procedures
- GE CT equipment and Fuji Synapse experience preferred
- EPIC EMR system used
- 3x12-hour night shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Weekend requirement every Sunday
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Scan experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to perform general body and extremity CT and CTA procedures
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must comply with facility dress code policy

Everyone has been very helpful and kind. The hospital is clean and pretty easy to navigate to rooms and floors. It's in a good location.
Cons
Not a whole lot of short term homes for rent but some nice hotels and rooms for rent. Not a lot of things to do during off time but DC and Shenandoah Park are a short drive. So are a lot of caverns.
