Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring prior CVOR experience in an inpatient setting and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a multidiscipline surgical services department with four operating rooms and four procedure rooms serving over 9000 patients per year
• Services include endoscopy, pain management, ENT, general surgery, hand and foot surgery, and orthopedic procedures
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• Prior CVOR experience in an inpatient setting required
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
• Comfortable with computer systems and applications or ability to be trained
• Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, treatment, and coordination of individualized care plans
• Collaborate with an inter-professional healthcare team to prioritize patient needs and implement care therapies
• Facilitate patient discharge processes and coordinate with case management as needed
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and initiatives
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, though local candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate
