Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP and EFM certification along with two years of acute care experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 6:45am to 7:15pm
- Works every other weekend
- 36 hours per week over 3 shifts at 12 hours per day
- Epic EMR experience required, EFM monitoring experience preferred
Requirements
- Active KY or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM
- Minimum of two years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered care within a Practice Governance framework
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient and family education and discharge planning
- Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
- Apply the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care in daily practice
