Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med-Surg Adult RN for a night shift position requiring an active CO or Compact RN license and at least 2 years of acute care experience.
Details
- Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit caring for Observation and Telemetry patients
- Growing census due to increased Ortho surgeries, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses
- 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation required
- Must participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions
- SSN or DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge of critical disease states
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Facility-based housing may be available to rent directly from the facility
- Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays
