Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Telemetry for a night shift position requiring tele and cardiac experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Care/Telemetry unit functioning primarily as a medsurg/tele overflow unit
• Cares for stable chest pain rule-outs, A Fib with RVR, CHF, and stroke rule-out patients
• Occasionally administers Cardizem (max rate of 15) and amiodarone drips
• 5-6 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
