Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and hands-on skill with both Siemens and Philips CT equipment for an acute care setting.

Details

• Adult acute care and emergency department settings
• Performs abdomen, chest, vascular chest, and head CT studies with and without contrast
• Utilizes multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image post-processing
• Performs specialized procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
• Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• 5x8 hour shifts, evenings (3:00 PM-11:30 PM) or nights (7:00 PM-3:30 AM), with start times that may vary
• No floating required
• Every weekend may be required based on unit needs
• 13 week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• ARRT advanced and ARRT R certifications preferred
• Experience with Siemens and Philips CT equipment required
• Epic experience required
• Allscripts charting experience preferred
• Proficient in starting peripheral IVs
• Active California license required if applicable
• References required for consideration
• First-time travelers accepted
