Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration to perform CT imaging for patients of all ages.
Details
- 13-week assignment in the Cat Scan department
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatric age
- Uses Epic for charting
- Start date is contingent on completion of credentialing clearance
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required
- ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred
- If no CT license at time of hire, must obtain CT License within one year
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- License required if applicable
- Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred
- Skilled in inserting and removing IVs
Additional Information
- Performs CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager
- Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies
- Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with safety protocols
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, Massachusetts, at a reduced rate
