Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Oncology telemetry position requiring an active TX or compact RN license and ONC certification.
Details
- Med Surg/Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- 15-bed unit staffed with 3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Telemetry equipment used for continuous cardiac monitoring
- Meditech EMR system in use
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Stroke care experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to oncology and med-surg patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Navy-colored scrub attire required
- Positive, team-oriented personality preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates will not be considered
