Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT certification and Epic EMR experience for a hospital-based imaging department.

Details

• Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Variable shift schedule with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer and manage patient images

Requirements

• ARRT certification as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (required in CA)
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if performing fluoroscopy procedures
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Additional Information

• Provide imaging care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
• Facility requires all associates to receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
