Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring prior cath lab experience and ACLS/BLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab (Cardiology Invasive) unit of a hospital environment
- 5-bed unit staffed by a team of 25
- Day shift schedule of 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Night coverage provided via on-call staff
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Uses X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment
- Cerner EMR used
- No floating required
- On-call required every 5th weekend from 7am Saturday to 7am Monday
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- 2+ years of experience required
- Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab required
- Must be able to perform diagnostic/interventional heart caths and structural heart procedures
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as well as structural heart procedures
- Surgical Green scrub color required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
