Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least one year of IR experience and availability for night and weekend call.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit covering Neuro IR, Vascular IR, and General IR cases
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- Night and weekend call required
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
- Ability to function independently in the assigned specialty area following orientation
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients in a specialty procedural setting
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
- Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
- Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other service providers and delegate tasks to support staff
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning workers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
- Compliance requirements including background checks and drug screening must begin immediately upon booking, with strict adherence to deadlines
