Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least one year of IR experience and availability for night and weekend call.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit covering Neuro IR, Vascular IR, and General IR cases
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Night and weekend call required

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
• Ability to function independently in the assigned specialty area following orientation

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients in a specialty procedural setting
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
• Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other service providers and delegate tasks to support staff
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Returning workers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
• Compliance requirements including background checks and drug screening must begin immediately upon booking, with strict adherence to deadlines
