Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT scanning experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a night shift assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan department
- 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Wednesday
- 36 hours per week
Requirements
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- KY state license required (license required if applicable, can obtain after offer)
- Minimum of 2 years of CT scanning experience required
Additional Information
- Produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images meeting department, organizational, and industry standards
- Prepare patients for procedures, administer contrast as directed, and position patients and equipment for optimal imaging
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional imaging is needed
- Oversee and train students in patient care, treatment, and imaging services
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, patient positioning, and infection control practices
