Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for an acute care cardiac cath lab, requiring RCIS or ARRT certification and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Cardiology department's Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- 8-hour day shifts with a 1-hour lunch, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week
- Uses Allscripts as the EMR/charting system
- No nurse aides on the unit
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist, including at least 1 year in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- RCIS certification via CCI or ARRT registration
- New York State License as an X-ray Technologist with certification to inject per section 89.40 of part 89 (license required if applicable)
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

- Rotating on-call requirement
- Weekend coverage is possible on-call basis only
- Holiday coverage is on-call only
