Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring current CO or compact RN licensure and multiple emergency-specific certifications.

Details

• 50-bed Emergency Department staffed with 68 total employees
• Day shift staffed with 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
• Mid shift staffed with 8-10 RNs plus mixed skill staff
• Night shift staffed with 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
• Patient ratios estimated at 1:4 or 1:5, not guaranteed
• Uses EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose testing equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM shift schedule

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• CPI Blue Card certification required
• Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Stroke experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
