Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a dual CT/X-ray role requiring 1+ year of acute care experience and ARRT and BLS certification.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient hospital setting
• Dual role requiring both CT and X-ray duties, including coverage in the OR as needed
• Adult patient population
• Evening shift, 4x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Every fourth weekend coverage from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Uses Siemens CT equipment
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, chest, and head CT scans without and/or with contrast
• Epic EMR required
• Floating to other units and/or facilities may be required

Requirements

• ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required, ARRT(CT) preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in both CT and X-ray
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings

• Accepts first-time travelers

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Time off requests of 7+ days require manager approval, and holidays and days surrounding holidays are excluded
• Previous staff members must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
