Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 5+ years of L&D experience, a KY or compact RN license, and OR circulating/scrubbing skills.

Details

295-bed acute care hospital setting within the Labor and Delivery unit
Unit includes 6 LDRs, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room
Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
Uses GE Centricity wireless fetal monitoring equipment
Charts in Meditech/Centricity EHR
Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Works every other weekend
Floating required to postpartum/mother-baby unit

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
NRP certification
Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Rural community hospital experience required
Experience circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including circulating and scrubbing for OR procedures
Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
Required scrub color is OR seal blue; hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted
