Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a Med Surg unit requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Med Surg 3 unit setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• EPIC charting system used
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license in CO or compact required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry/specialty required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Conduct health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic/restorative treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
