Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ICU experience and ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification to support a Level III trauma center.
Details
- Vascular Ultrasound/Echo Tech role within a short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds
- 5x8 day shift schedule with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM depending on department need
- Requires working every other weekend
- Float coverage required as needed per department and scheduling needs
- Uses EPIC charting system
Requirements
- ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification required (either accepted)
- ICU experience required
- Experience starting IVs required
- License required if applicable

- Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Teal scrub color required
- Free parking provided
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required unless religious or medical exemption applies
- Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off
- Returning staff must be separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies; local candidates not permitted unless Nuclear Med Tech or CT Tech
