Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for unit or service

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, health teaching and counseling, treatment monitoring, and documentation
• Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening required, with expected turnaround of at least 2 weeks
