Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing ED imaging unit requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and dual modality CT/X-ray experience.
Details
- Free-standing emergency department (FSED) imaging unit within a 465-bed main hospital
- Float tech role covering Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts
- 3-night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call required
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses GE and Siemens equipment
- EMR/PACS system is Meditech/Fuji PACS
- Typical procedures include bone marrow biopsy, cryoablation, microwave ablation, CTA coronary/pulmonary, liver biopsy, general ortho, body, and neuro scans
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Dual modality CT/X-ray technologist experience required
- GE equipment experience required
- Hospital and procedural experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures including biopsies, ablations, and CTA studies across ortho, body, and neuro cases
- Team environment values collaborative, flexible, team-oriented personalities
- Scrub color requirement: olive green top with black scrub pants
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
