Description
American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN requiring KY or compact RN license and 2 years acute inpatient experience for a day shift assignment.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) overflow unit setting
- Day shift 6:45am-7:15pm, every other weekend required
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active KY RN license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute inpatient RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and coordinates patient/family education
- Mentors and precepts staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
- Participates in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
