Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift acute care role requiring 3+ years of X-Ray and CT experience and both NV and CA licensure.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the CT/X-Ray department
• Performs both scheduled outpatient and ER x-ray and CT procedures
• Night shift with low patient volume, ranging from 5 to 25 patients per shift
• Works as part of a 2-staff team within the department
• Primary location in Incline Village, NV with potential coverage at the main hospital
• Main hospital operates 24/7 with 10-hour shifts plus call
• Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 10-hour shifts
• No weekends required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Equipment includes Siemens CT and X-Ray systems, Philips Portable, and Fuji C-Arm

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required, with at least 2 years in X-Ray and CT
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) required
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Nevada Radiologic Technologist license required (not limited license)
• Both NV and CA licenses required due to potential cross-coverage
• License required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing x-rays and CT scans for both outpatient and ER patients
• Maintains cleanliness and stocking of the department
• Collaborates closely with other departments
• All radiologists are onsite, with one radiologist covering Incline Village on Tuesdays
• Contract may be extended beyond the initial 13-week assignment
