Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of hospital experience in cardiac interventional radiology and active ARRT certification.
Details
- 13-week assignment with 10-hour shifts (4x10s or 5x8s)
- 40 hours per week
- Performs interventional radiology procedures including special procedures and cardiac interventional exams
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required, with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- Current State/District license required, if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in interventional radiology required
- Must meet current state Radiation Quality Standards
Additional Information
- Assists physicians during interventional procedures and provides diagnostic support via organ or body scans
- Administers and records isotope dosage per departmental protocol
- Monitors patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Two manager or supervisor references verifying recent experience within the last 12 months are preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
