Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level II Special Care Nursery/NICU position requiring NC or compact RN license and Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery experience.

Details

• Works in a Level II Special Care Nursery/NICU unit on a 3rd floor hospital setting
• Neonatal patient population including TTN, preterm, NAS, and feeding issue diagnoses
• Unit has 4 beds with surge capacity to 6
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• Uses Paragon EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am
• Rotating weekend requirement, every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Floating to Mother Baby unit required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: NRP and BLS
• 1-2 years of experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery experience required
• Mother Baby experience and catching baby in delivery experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide neonatal nursing care in a special care nursery setting
• Must be flexible and willing to work as part of a team
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
