Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R, BLS, and MRI certification for a day-shift assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech role covering adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma patient populations
• Performs MRI studies including brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, extremities, and MRA/MRV imaging
• Uses GE MRI equipment and PACS system
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 12:30 PM-8:30 PM
• No call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required

Requirements

• ARRT-R and BLS certification required
• MRI certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• NY State license required upon start; license required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Performs a wide range of MRI exams including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sacrum/coccyx, and spinal trauma imaging
• Captures T1 and T2 weighted images across multiple anatomical regions
