Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma teaching facility, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• 700-bed facility across 2 campuses
• Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching facility
• Exposure to inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and ED settings
• Perform all types of CT exams including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, and CT angiograms
• Uses GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 scanners
• Night shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) certification required
• NYS Injection/IV Certification required (candidates may complete IV cert course prior to start and apply for NYDOH BERT certification)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Scrubs must match top and bottom, any color, no patterns, and are not provided
• Open-toed shoes and excessive jewelry are not permitted
• Long hair must be tied back and beards trimmed for fit-testing
• No chipping nail polish permitted
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
