Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 3 trauma acute care facility, requiring 2+ years experience and CT certification preferred.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Radiology/CT department at a Level 3 trauma facility
• Performs all X-ray and CT imaging studies
• Uses Cerner EMR, DR PACS, and Philips imaging equipment
• 12-hour day shifts, typically Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon starting at 10:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirements vary by department need, sometimes requiring all weekends
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Radiology supervisor on-site
• 24/7 RT and pharmacy support available
• In-house hospitalist/intensivist coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required
• CA CRT license and ARRT credential required
• CT certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience
• License required if applicable
• Active state or compact licensure required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of imaging studies including CT and X-ray procedures
• Work alongside MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound technologists as part of the broader imaging team
• No IV team on-site
• Facility does not permit rehire of candidates directly employed by any associated facility within the past year, though PRN staffing through outside firms is considered
