Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography and general radiography/fluoroscopy imaging procedures across the patient care continuum.

Details

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice, if applicable
• Advanced CT certification required or preferred depending on state, if applicable
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, if applicable
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, if applicable
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the age continuum
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
• Candidates must comply with required vaccinations as a condition of employment, subject to medical and religious exemptions
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
