Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging for patients across the age spectrum.

Details

• Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Cares for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
• Advanced certification in CT modality required in OR and HI
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable, including state RT license where applicable
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, per state requirements
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, per state requirements
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last three months

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care throughout the imaging process
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures integrity of patient images and data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted at travel rate with no radius restriction
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior licensure issue will not be considered
