Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an inpatient acute care case management role requiring 2 years of RN experience and 1 year as a Case Manager with an OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute hospital setting within the Case Management/Utilization Review department
• Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 7:30 to 18:00
• Every-other-weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:25
• Epic charting system experience required
• Floating to other units or sister facilities within 75 miles required based on facility need
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience and 1 year of Case Manager experience required
• BLS certification required
• CCM certification preferred
• InterQual or MCG experience preferred
• Experience with appeals and denials, benefits eligibility, care coordination, discharge planning, DME needs assessment, prior authorizations, and Milliman guidelines
• Knowledge of CMS and HIPAA regulatory guidelines
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required
• Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
• Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Support inpatient discharge planning, care coordination, care progression, post-acute transitions, and patient choice compliance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the case management process
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates may be converted to permanent staff upon completion of the 13-week assignment
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
• Previous INTEGRIS employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the health system to be eligible
